In big facility environments there are few operational systems that require the use of common type platform. That synchronization  or harmonization of several quite different tasks is obtained by the use of a Central Time Systems.

The typical system utilizes a GPS receiver as the base information that supplies a very stable and accurate time information. It is collected from up to 12 satellite parts of the Global Positioning System implemented by the US Government.

The time base information is used to adjust or set up a Time Generator or Time Server that will supply time information to the servers. LAN’s used in the different Specialized Systems through the facility and also to slave clocks to display the time information for public and the workers inside the facility.
