Zortek Systems' participation in IT projects at Dominican Republic is becoming a common practice nowadays. Since 2004, the company has worked in the commission and development of various systems for airports in cities such as La Romana, La Isabela (El Higüero) and Santiago de los Caballeros, showing high quality and expertise in each implementation. These are undoubtedly factors that have contributed to the recognition and acceptance of Zortek Systems at the Caribbean country.
The CUS/LDCS project was held by Zortek Systems' certified engineers Wladimiro Basantes, Franklin Torres and Angel Benavides of the Ecuador office, which had to move constantly to Santiago (DR) for about five months to develop the project. During this time the engineers assisted the migration of the airlines to the new solutions, the cutover phase, training and support to end-users. Actually, the solution works without troubles, showing the excellent work performed by the whole team.
This way, Del Cibao International Airport increases competitiveness in the region, allowing reliability and flexibility in its operating and management systems, and also offering cost-effective alternatives to established airlines and new carriers arriving to Santiago (DR). Also, Zortek Systems keeps consolidating itself as one of the most active System Integrators at the Caribbean Region.
