The development and completion of this project was distributed into three phases: 1) the migration of theexistingswitched phone lines to the Administrative Tower; 2) the installation of a very dependable data solution (networking, IP, Web); and 3) VoIP technology implementation, which will gradually replace the existing switched phone lines.
ZORTEK SYSTEMS was chosen to perform this implementation. Phases 1 and 2 were completed in September with the assistance of Engineers David Ramirez and Ricardo Pantoja, and also the technical support of Jair Vallejo and Eliecer Murillo. Thus, our customer obtained a very reliable and time effective solution configured to meet its needs. The new Administrative Tower houses the offices mentioned earlier in addition to critical rooms such as the Airport's Computing Center .
Currently, phase three of this project is in progress with a projected deadline at the end of October. All the new technologies for voice-data convergence were supplied by ZORTEK SYSTEMS, and developed by our premier manufacturer Zultys. They will be operating in full effect at Tocumen International Airport come November. The completion of this project will enhance the reliability and efficiency between the communications system and the terminal itself. |
