That synchronization or harmonization of several quite different tasks is obtained by the use of a Centralized Time System.

The typical system utilizes a GPS receiver as the base information that supplies very stable and accurate time information. It is collected from up to 12 satellite parts of the Global Positioning System implemented by the US Government.

The time base information is used to adjust or set up a Time Generator or Time Server that will supply time information to the servers.
